Nintendo of America made an announcement today that they will be starting the Super Smash Club for Canada.
During a broadcast of the Twitch channel epn, Nintendo of America announced a Super Smash Bros. club exclusive to Canada called Super Smash Club. The club will primarily consist of a website and various planned events with the idea of bringing Canadian fans of Super Smash Bros. together.
During it’s first week of opening the club, Nintendo is inviting fans to use Twitter and Facebook to post ideas on what the rules for Super Smash Club should be. Following that activity, Nintendo wants fans to show examples of the fandom for Super Smash Club, which would consist of fan art, cosplays, etc., starting October 1st.
The final announced activity for Super Smash Club will come in the form of eight events to be held around Canada, from October 18th until November 8th, which will allow fans to join together and play Super Smash Bros. with each other.
More details on these upcoming activities and events can be found on the official website for Super Smash Club.
At this time, Nintendo has made no announcements regarding a United States or European version of Super Smash Club, which at the moment is a Canada exclusive club.
