Both of these phones are poles apart in terms of operating systems. Nokia presents to us the latest Windows operating system version while Oppo is ready with its latest Android technology. So let us find out what are the common features of these phones and what makes them distinct.
Nokia Lumia 1320
This phone is rather a latest release from Nokia. It features the latest Windows 8 version, upgradable up to version 8.1. This phone is a toned down version of Lumia 1520 but is actually quite affordable and has some extremely cool features.
Design & Display
This phone weighs 220 grams and is quite heavy for that matter. It has an IPS LCD capacitive touch screen presented in bright 16M colors. Nokia gives us a large 6 inch screen with 720 x 1280 pixels. So we get 245 pixels per inch density on screen. The screen is well protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a Clear Black display.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
This phone has an 8 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 64 GB. Powered by a 1.7 GHz Dual core processor, this phone runs quite smoothly. The 1 GB RAM helps it to do so. The front camera is only 5 mega pixels, but it is loaded with features like LED flash, auto focus, geo tagging however. The secondary camera is only VGA though. The 3400 mAh battery is non removable.
Oppo Neo
This phone has optional Dual SIM and it allows 3G connectivity as well. It was released in the first quarter of 2014 and has been well received in the market.
Design & Display
This phone has a bare 4.5 inch display with 480 x 800 pixels on its screen. Therefore we get a lower 207 pixel per inch resolution on its screen. Multi touch has been enabled but there is no Gorilla Glass protection on its screen.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
This phone too has a 5 mega pixels camera with the same resolution as that of Lumia 1320. But this phone does not have flash support which is a big downside. But the secondary camera is 2 mega pixels unlike Lumia 1320’s VGA. We get a 1.3 GHz Dual core processor in this phone with a 512 MB RAM. The RAM is too low to support this Dual core processor. The 1900 mAh battery is low for an Android phone.
Overall
It is really difficult to take a pick among the two phones as each of them has good features. But we think Lumia 1320 has a better RAM and battery support than Neo. It also has a brighter screen. So we feel you should go for Lumia 1320 and not look back.
