However, Gionee, a Chinese company, had their state-of-the-art smartphones released into the area, giving a tight competition in the market. The Gionee Elife E7’s release is seen to be one top quality handset and is offered at a reasonable price, too.
Now, here is a comparison between the display, software and hardware features of the Android-based Gionee Elife E7 and the Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 920.
Gionee Elife E7 comes with a JDI display measuring 5.5 inches and a 1080p resolution. It is also using the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology, protecting it against scratches and dust. It is available in three versions: 32GB 4G LTE model using a 3GB RAM, 32GB 3G model using a 3GB RAM and a 16GB 3G model using a 2GB RAM.
Nokia Lumia 920’s display uses LCD Pure Motion HD+ which measures 4.5 inches and has a 768 x 1280 resolution. It has a 332-ppi pixel density offering crisp and clear images. Its display also gives users natural-looking colors, as well as viewing angles that are wide. Its bright screen also gives a good viewing experience, though the user is using it under broad daylight.
Now, let’s go to the performance of their hardware. Elife E7 is powered by its Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset plus a MSM8974AC quad-core processor running at 2.5 GHz. It is available in 2GB and 3GB RAM graphic processors for a smooth experience.
Comparing it to the Nokia Lumia 920, you’ll see that that Elife E7 is more powerful since Nokia Lumia 920 is only using a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus processor that is dual-core, running at 1.5GHz and is combined with a 1GB RAM. It also uses the general hardware features of any other Windows Phone. Its internal storage capacity is only available in 32GB and its memory is not expandable.
Gionee Elife E7 is using an operating system that is Android Jelly Bean v4.4.2. This smartphone is also known to be using the operating system Amigo version 2.0 which is powered by a 2500 mAh battery.
On the other hand, Windows Phone OS is popular for the consistency it is showing. Still, the Windows Phone 8 OS of the Lumia 920 gives users an amazing experience which is the same with that of the others using the same OS in today’s market. However, since it’s a part of the Nokia Lumia series, it features City Lens, Nokia Maps, Music & Drive.
