A recent PlayStation Blog entry has confirmed that Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD will be releasing later today on PlayStation Vita.
Originally released as an Xbox launch title back in 2001, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee was given an HD makeover for PlayStation 3 during its 2012 re-release. The title now makes its way to PlayStation Vita owners looking to enter the universe of Oddworld.
This is the third release of an Oddworld title this year, with the first one being Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee – New n’ Tasty for PlayStation 4 and the second release being an iOS port of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath.
The blog post also reminds gamers that Oddworld Inhabitants is still hard at work for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 versions of New n’ Tasty, and hopes to have more details in the near future.
A price point was not given for the PS Vita version of Munch’s Oddysee HD, but the wait to find out will be short when the PlayStation Store updates later today.
