From gaming booths to panels PAX Australia brings Melbourne and gamers from all around Australia together at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre to share their passion for video games. Day one of PAX brought with it some up and coming indie games and the latest triple A titles that’s on our Christmas wish list.
Highlights of the day included:
Story time with Pete Hines: Bethesdas Vice President of PR and Marketing Pete Hines took us down memory lane with his experiences working on blockbuster games such as Fallout and the Elder Scrolls series. He also announced that Bethesdas new project BATTLECRY will debut its beta first in Australia and New Zealand.
PC gamers enjoyed the League of Legends booth, Razor and the Alienware selections. With League competitions running throughout PAX the finals will be the highlight for day three.
Nintendo showcased the New 3DS while many enjoyed playing Mario Kart 8 and contained their many street-passes, you can also go pick up Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby demo codes.
It was hard to miss the Wargaming booth!
Ubisoft brought all their big franchises and showed off Far Cry 4, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, The Crew and teased Tom Clancy’s The Division.
