Overkill Software and their publisher 505 Games have today announced that their first DLC kit for Payday 2, titled the ‘Big Bank’ update, is now available to buy on Steam. The new update will include bigger and better heists, including the new Benevolent Bank which has the biggest vaults and rewards yet. You’ll get a new contact too, known the the brutal sounding ‘Dentist’, to help you pull off the massive new job.
The Dentist is voiced by Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, The Usual Suspects), and introduces a more intense preparation that encourages players to bring some more realism to the challenge, first by “casing” the banks via the new team “pre-planning” phase that the DLC adds into the game. This is a returning feature, which was included in the original Payday: the Heist but was cut from the sequel for unknown reasons. The preparation phase provides blueprints of the target bank, heist power-ups including get-away drivers and better weaponry — all of which combines to make for a more successful job. 505 Games and Overkill Software today announced the PC version of the Big Bank downloadable content (DLC) pack for PAYDAY 2 is now available via Steam. The “Big Bank” update features the game’s largest heist to date, the Benevolent Bank — along with bigger / better vaults; guards; rewards; and a brand new contact, The Dentist, played by actor Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, The Usual Suspects).
