Player Appreciation Event Causes Delay in Battlefield 4’s Double XP

by GH Staff

Originally set to be held the following week, the Double XP event that meant to be an exclusive for members of Battlefield 4 has been delayed. The delay was a result of the announcement of Player Appreciation event for battlefield 4. Since the Player Appreciation event overlaps the Premium event, the latter will be moved to a later date. A new comment posted on Battlelog forums confirmed the changes recently.

A lot of fans for the Premium event have been raising questions asking when the next date for the event will be held. According to some sources, the event was highly anticipated by Battlefield 4 fans. As a result, the changes have led to a lot of disappointment with some of the fans venting their anger on different gaming forums.

However, the move was intended to avoid members interested in both events having to choose one. Some of them had voiced their concerns on having the two events on the same date. They said that they would be unable to attend both events if they were held at the same time. This was the main reason why the 2XP event had to be postponed.

The weekend of 7th December will be the likely date set for the exclusive Player Appreciation event for Battlefield 4. By moving the event to the new date, players will have the opportunity to take part in the much anticipated player appreciation event of 2XP. It will also mean that premium members will get their exclusive weekend. The whole point of the move was to allow members who wanted to participate in both events to have the opportunity to do so.

Even though the exact times and dates for the event has not been officially communicated, the organizers have promised to do so soon. As soon as there is more on the front, we will keep you updated.
