The Official Playstation Blog has recently given a list of games set to release this upcoming Tuesday. These titles will span their entire family of consoles; the Big Daddy PlayStation 3, the plucky Playstation 4, and the neglected orphan Playstation Vita. Here are some of the highlights from the original post:
AKIBA’S TRIP: UNDEAD AND UNDRESSED
In the same vein of Dead Rising and Lollipop Chainsaw, Akiba’s Trip claims to be a satirical take on Video Game tropes while still promising some interesting features such as being able to use anything as a weapon against the undead horde. The title will be released on the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita.
SURGEON SIMULATOR: ANNIVERSARY EDITION
Playing an untrustworthy surgeon with a mouse and keyboard seems a lot easier (and a lot less potentially hilarious) than trying to do it with a Dualshock controller. Nevertheless, Playstation Store will be hosting a console version of this Dark Horse Indie Hit of 2014, but sadly, it will only be available to Playstation 4 owners.
RISEN 3: TITAN LORDS
Even after Youtubers like “Angry Joe” Joe Vargas have outright blasted Risen and Risen 2: Dark Waters as average at best, the folks over at Piranha Bytes and Deep Silver have made it clear they won’t be shaken so easily by putting Risen 3: Dark Waters on the Playstation Network. The RPG sets you as a soulless man wandering through a broken world as humanity struggles to survive (COUGH COUGH DARK SOULS), and will be available on the Playstation 3.
HOHOKUM
Hohokum’s premise is simple and fun; you play as a strange, flying creature who Sony says resembles a kite, and you progress through a mix of talking to NPCs, uncovering secrets, and roaming around the colorful, candy-like world. Hohokum will be released on Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Playstation Vita via download.
