PlayStation Turkey’s VP Hints at The Last of Us for PlayStation 4

by GH Staff

Sercan Sülün, the vice president of Turkey’s PlayStation division, has let loose some information on Naughty Dog’s epic title The Last of Us.

The information was revealed during an interview broadcast on CNN TÜRK. According to the report, Sülün was asked whether or not we would be seeing a sequel to the coveted game anytime soon. While Naughty Dog has declined to comment time and time again on most items regarding The Last of Us, he seemed willing to let the cat out of the bag.

“No, [a] sequel is not coming right now as far as I know,” he stated, “but I can say that [the] first game will be released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy, with enhanced graphics.”

If this is true, it will be following in the footsteps of games such as Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, another title who made the jump from last-gen to current-gen with update graphics and game mechanics. While the enhancements were quite noticeable, many gamers felt that this was a scummy “double-dip” by developers Crystal Dynamics. Regardless, the Definitive Edition was well-received by critics.
