Since being released last year, PlayStation TV has offered gamers a way to enjoy certain PS Vita games and applications as well as Remote Play on their TV. Although the console was priced at a fairly reasonable mark of 100 USD, it has recently seen a price cut across all major US retailers.
The console alone is now being sold for 80 USD and the bundle that comes with a DualShock 3 has seen its price dropped from 140 to 100 USD. Although Sony has not yet announced these to be the new official listing prices, the fact that none of these retailers are calling them “discounted” or “sales” does seem to indicate that that would be the case. The console is still slated to receive PlayStation Now, Sony’s streaming service that allows games from other consoles to be played over the internet on a variety of devices, although the date of its arrival remains unknown.
