With the release of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire vastly approaching it is no wonder the Pokemon Company is going all out by creating short animated commercial to really intensify the hype. The OVA was only released in Japan and by all means it is definitely worth a watch.
Bringing us the world of Pokemon in the Hoenn region has never been so glorious. There are scenes of battles, trainers, and awesomeness all compiled in a four minute video leaving you wanting more. There is a little synopsis, but the intention of the short was to showcase players as they awaken in their hometown of Littleroot and embark on a journey with their starter of choice. What is even better is the list of mega evolution Pokemon which will be sure to bring any hardcore Pokemon fans to their knees. It is a barrage of adventure, fun, and Pokemon.
Of course this has not been the only time Pokemon and Nintendo has released an animated OVA coinciding with the release of a new Pokemon game. However I believe these shorts is what the anime should be, then again I’m just hoping for another Pokemon Origins.
Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby will be released Nov 21, 2014.
