Polk Audio’s 4 Shot Headset Coming Next Week for Xbox One

by GH Staff

For you audiophiles, the high-end headphone and speaker company, Polk Audio, is launching its 4 Shot headset for Xbox One on March 6. The company’s first foray into next gen gaming headsets was created in collaboration with Turn 10 Studios (Forza Motorsport) and 343 Industries (Halo) to help create the best audio settings for different types of games.

The Polk Audio 4 Shot headset will be the first specifically licensed Xbox One headset to hit retail shelves, finally allowing Xbox early adopters the chance to ditch the headset that was bundled with their consoles. The 4 Shot keeps it simple when it comes to cords and wires, as the headset plugs directly into the Xbox One controller’s data port. Nothing will plug into the console so there won’t be any tripping hazards with Polk’s headset. For chatting with other gamers, the headset includes a retractable microphone.

Polk wants you to have the most comfortable gaming experience, so the 4 Shot makes use of leather padding and over-ear pads in order for your head and ears to stay as comfy as possible. The 4 Shot headset will be available on the 6th of March and will be retailed for $159.95. You can pick up the headset in three colors: Ink Black, Desert White, and Nova Blue. At launch, the headset will be available through Gamestop and Polk Audio’s website.
