While Warframe for PS4 will be free to play, users may pre-order the PS 4 version on Playstation Network. All those who finalized their preorders before November 12, will receive the Ultimate Fan Pack which will include exclusive Playstation designs for Braton Rifle, 50 Platinum and 20.000 Credits. Since the game was announced for during this year’s E3, the developers had added “tones” of new content for the PS 4 version, as Pat Kudirka, the Associate Producer declared on the Playstation Blog. Moreover, Digital Extremes promised more surprises about which we should find out more in the near future.
The story of Warframe takes place in a far future, when the Tenno race faces extinction due to a long and devastating war against the Grineer race. Just when the defeat seemed to be imminent, members of the Tenno race discover Warframes, special battle suits which apparently only they are able to control.
Armed with this newly discovered technology, Tenno soldiers will try to change the tide of war. To this end, players will form teams of up to 4 members, each of them performing specific and randomly generated tasks. Players will receive specific weapons according to the tasks at hand such as rifles, pistols and ninja swords.
