As of yesterday, March 2 (Monday), Sony has claimed that the global amount of units for PS4 games sold for the console is reaching up to 14 million units; specifically, 13.7 million units have been sold so far, as reported by CVG. The unit count covers both physical and digital copies of PS4 games, which includes top-selling exclusives such as Killzone Shadow Fall (which in itself has shipped over 2.1 million units) and Knack, as well as Call of Duty: Ghosts, FIFA 14, Battlefield 4 and Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, among others.

These figures, according to CVG, were released alongside Sony’s announcement on its PlayStation blog that the PS4 has shipped over six million copies following the console’s successful launch in Japan over a week ago. In the US alone, more than 90% of PS4 owners are online; gaming, streaming, competing and sharing with their fellow players. Earlier on today, Major Nelson demonstrated Twitch’s streaming service running at 1280x720p at 30 frames per second on the Xbox One, which outdoes the PS4’s Twitch streaming service. What’s more, Sony has released information on the Legacy Edition of InFAMOUS: Second Son, a PS4 exclusive, which comes with the Cole’s Legacy DLC, and the game’s digital PS4 download size is a modest 24Gb.
