Sony’s most recent free update for its PS4 adds a new gamemode to its pre-installed interactive augmented reality mini-game – The Playroom – named Ninja Bots.
In Ninja Bots, you and up to three other players race against each other whilst avoiding obstacles and enemies along the way. The track features numerous things to both dodge and jump over in order to avoid colliding with them, and there are also enemy ronin bots that block your way. You’ll be able to use shurikens to destroy these bots – not only to get them out of your way, but to also collect their coins too.
The Playroom has been quiet on the PS4 as of late. The last time it hit the headlines was when controversy was stirred up when Twitch streamers started to abuse the game. The Playroom requires a PlayStation camera in order to play, is about an $90 peripheral for the PS4.
