Razer Nabu Smartband is Having a Beta Test for Just $1

Razer, the famous video-game third party appliance maker, shocked everyone when they unveiled that there new product would not be video game related at all, but rather an activity tracker akin to the Nike fuel band. An odd-choice, but their promotional video for the product displayed enough interesting abilities that many became intrigued anyway. Well rejoice, because Razer has announced that it will ship limited numbers of the Nabu Smartband to only the most dedicated of fans.

 

Only 500 beta testers will receive the one dollar code allowing them to stress test the product, and you can enter the drawing on Razer’s website www.razerone.com. With combined notification abilities of a smart watch, and the sensors of the ever popular fitness band, Razer is looking to take hold of the emerging wearable-tech market pioneering a new trend of fitness bands that are practical and can coincide with our smart-phones. Equipped with a 128×32 led screen on the underside of the wrist, users will be notified when they receive new texts, and social-media alerts thanks to the phone’s ability to link with a free app that will be added to the android and ios market. Release date for the consumer edition has still yet too be announced.
