At the Google I/O Conference on the 25th of June, Google and Razer announced a new Micro Console that is being developed by Razer who develops gaming hardware.
Google is working with Razer to develop this new console, it will be running the Android TV interface which gives users entertainment content such as movies, music and games etc. In terms of factors, this new console will be very similar to other entertainment systems such as the Amazon Fire and Ouya.
The expected release for this is 2015 but right now Razor haven’t given us much to go off. All we know right now is that it is announced and that Razer have the main focus of hardcore and casual gaming for this new console.
I’m very curious to find out more about this machine and how powerful it’s going to be seeing as Razor are very popular for the high quality products that they produce.
Don’t forget Razer are not trying compete with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with this product as they are trying to make this an affordable purchase for people who like to play games but don’t want to spend pay the price of an Xbox or PlayStation.
