Changing Group Names
Life is full of changes and we also like making changes, time to time. Viber also offers you the option to change group names. If you are engaged in multiple group chats, then it can become confusing. Renaming the groups helps you to get rid of confusion. It allows you to keep track of your group chats in an efficient way.
Mute a Group
Sometimes, constant notifications irritate the users. This is why Viber gives us the opportunity to mute a particular group so that you can get on with your work. Once you mute a group, then you will not receive the notifications from that particular group until you have changed its status. You can disable the “Mute” option whenever you want in order to join the conversation once again. Do not worry about the past notifications. You can read the messages and notifications from the group members which you had ignored earlier.
Smart Notifications
If there is frequent or too much conversation during a group chat, you can choose the option of Smart notification. It sends just one notification for a thread of continuous messages. It does not send notifications for each distinct message. It is a great option in order to get rid of irritation during a group chat.
