Resogun Confirmed to be Releasing for PS3 and PS Vita

by GH Staff

Sony has announced that Resogun will be seeing a release on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Earlier this week, a rumor that Resogun would be making its way to Sonys other systems was reported, and a new post on the PlayStation Blog has official confirmed that the ports are happening.

The blog post announced that the release date for the two ports will be December 23rd, and that Resogun will be a cross-buy title for both PS3 and PS Vita for the price of $14.99. Those who own Resogun for PlayStation 4 will be able to download the new ports for free.

Originally released for the PlayStation 4 as a launch title, Resogun quickly became a favorite game on the, then, new console. The PS3 and Vita versions have all of the features present in the PS4 version of the title, but is locked at 30fps as opposed to the PS4 version that ran at 60fps.

The PS3 and Vita versions will also feature cross save functionality, and the Vita version will allow ad-hoc co-op for nearby friends to join in.

Resogun is available right now on PlayStation 4 and, as mentioned earlier, will be released on December 23rd for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
