Titanfall has only been available to the public for a few days, but unfortunately cheaters appear to already be running rampant throughout the game, potentially ruining the experience for some users. However, Respawn Entertainment has publicly stated on Twitter that they are aware of the situation and are trying their best to hunt down the cheaters on Titanfall. From the official Respawn Entertainment Twitter page, the studio tweeted “Finding cheaters in Titanfall? So are we. We’re logging them now and they will be rooted out shortly.”

According to Respawn, the team is attempting to identify players who are utilizing 3rd party software such as aimbots and other similar hacks to exploit the game. Respawn has stated that cheaters and hackers will be banned immediately. Non-cheating players have nothing to worry about. Cheating measures are sadly relatively easy to bypass for experienced hackers, but getting permanently banned from Titanfall should deter most users from attempting to take the easy path. Titanfall released on March 11 for Xbox One and PC . The Xbox 360 version is scheduled to release in the coming weeks. Reviews of the game have been mostly positive, and it seems that Titanfall cheaters aren’t common enough to ruin the overall experience of most players.
