CW network is decided to start a new television series “Super Natural: Bloodlines” and the channel has high expectations on this series. This fantasy series is yet to start its production and the CW network is really happy to announce it. CW network which is at its best period is currently enjoying the success of “The Flash”, “Arrow” and “Jane – The Virgin”. The title of Super Natural: Bloodlines series is close to the novel “Bloodlines” and the manufactures are yet to announce a word about it.
The pilot project of “Super Natural: Bloodlines” which was aired didn’t get the wanted response and the network is planning to make some modifications so that the users will like it for sure. As per the CW network’s claims, the new series is also based on super natural plot and the network is over rely on the supernatural plots as its previous success, “The Flash” is also based on same genre.
In the Words of Eric Kripke (story Writer) who accepted that the pilot project didn’t meet the expectations revealed that they are still working on the project and the idea of this series is not completely dead. Three individuals standing up against the evil and fighting for the sake of good to the society is an excellent plot. Instead of jumping into the story directly, if we have taken two to three episodes to introduce the characters then the result would have been better. He even clarified that he likes to work on “Super Natural: Bloodlines”.
The premiere response is really bad as several critics claimed it as spin-off or mixture of several super natural hero stories like spider man, Hunk and Batman and bashed the poor story and loop holes in plots. Even fans of CW network didn’t like the series and this made CW network to rethink its decision. So many supernatural hero series got success on the small screen and it’s a proven fact the superhero or supernatural stories are known for success, whether it is a small screen or films. Hope CW network will come up with better and creative script without any loop holes and mesmerize its fans once again.
Waiting for months may backfire some time as the suspense for more than two to three weeks will result in loss of interest and the network need to start the ad-campaign for the show once again. So the company must start the work on new series immediately with improved plot and the supernatural powers concept will never fail if one took some care in story and other technical details.
If all the things goes as planned, the series may have gone for production as of now and in the first quarter of 2015, it may have telecasted in TV but as they are reworking on the basic details we can expect this serial in mid 2015 and there are some chances that the project will not start (if the makers are not satisfied with the script). Hope all goes well and we can enjoy the new superhero series in the first quarter of 2015.
