[dropcap size=dropcap]I[/dropcap]f you did not know it yet, Rockstar Games was preparing for some time to give to each player of Gta Online a sum of $500,000 in-game money. The Rockstar Stimulus Package, was meant as a gift for all the players who were confronting with several glitches and malfunctions in the game since its release, on October 1. A few weeks and a patch later, Rockstar finally announced that the money will be distributed to the players.
Stimulus Package was supposed to be distributed during October 2013. However, Rockstar officials postponed the release of the funds until this week, asserting that they would rather solve all the problems before giving away their gift. And since one of the problems was related to the in-game money, their decision seemed to be a reasonable one. “We expect that it will take up to 2 full days for the Stimulus Package to be fully delivered to the entire player base from October 2013, so please be patient if you do not see it appearing in your in-game bank account just yet,” a Rockstar official press release said. “We will update this post on Friday when we expect all the GTA$ Stimulus Package deposits to have been completed.”
GTA V is the most successful game of all time, a game that managed to cash in more than 800 million dollars on the first day after the official release. All those who have bought the game were also able to play the online mode starting October 1. GTA V online is available for download as an update for both PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Moreover, along with the stimulus package, Rockstar also announced the release of the first part of the Content Creator app. This one is also highly expected by the fans, as it gives them the ability to create, share and rate their own Death match and Race challenges.
