Rockstar, the makers of the popular GTA V, is planning something on next-gen consoles for Q1 2015.
Strauss Zelnic, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, said during an earnings call today that he is “very excited about what they [Rockstar] have in store for next-gen systems in this fiscal year.” No other details were given, which leaves gamers wondering… what is the new game going to be? Will it be a new GTA game, a new Red Dead game, or something completely different? Guess we will just have to wait and see.
Take-Two Interative, which owns Rockstar and Borderlands developer 2K Games, also noted that GTA V has sold-in over a whopping 33 million copies worldwide. Prior to this, GTA V became the fastest game ever to make $1 billion.
