This trailer for Atari’s RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 has hit multiple YouTube channels:
Atari has been teasing this announcement for some time now, and it is believed that the official word will be released at the Game Developers Conference, which begins later today and will continue through March 21.

Many gamers held out hope that the beloved franchise would continue as a PC title, but that does not seem to be the case. The official Atari twitter also posted a .GIF with the hastag “RCT4M,” which almost certainly means RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile (the title used in the trailer).
The last taste of RollerCoaster Tycoon we got was RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D, which is a mobile and handheld version of 2004’s RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 was well-received critically, but did suffer from a number of bugs and glitches.
Given the success of the mobile throwback version of Crazy Taxi, the game could do very well. The growth of the mobile genre is definitely big business (Candy Crush Saga Publisher King recently went public and values its company at around $7 billion), and it seems that Atari is looking to cash in on the action.
We have reached out to Atari for any further comment. We will update this page if we hear anything.
UPDATE: Atari has confirmed the game. It also promised a future PC game.
RollerCoaster Tycoon is back and it's coming to mobile! Rest assured, there is a PC experience in production now for release this year!
