As reported earlier this week, PlayStation Turkey VP let slip that The Last of Us will be heading to PS4, though Sony has yet to officially announce the game. Now, more information has surfaced, that suggests that not only is the game coming to PS4, but that it will also be part of a new bundle.
DualShockers is reporting that the The Last of Us PS4 is now listed on GameStop Germany’s internal system. The report also cites Pete “Famousmortimer” Dodd (an industry insider) who claims that the rumors are true, and that the game is on it’s way to PS4. Dodd, according to DualShockers, is known to have solid, reliable sources at Sony.
As for the rumored bundle, Reddit user AmNotGrayson has shared an alleged exchange he had with a Sony support representative. When asked about The Last of Us PS4, the support technician replied with, “Actually the game has been confirmed for PS4…we will have the bundle for PS4, as well as some more surprises.”
None of this confirms that the game is PS4 bound, but if you haven’t played The Last of Us yet, you might want to hold off a little bit longer. If you already played the game on PS3, will you buy it again for PS4? Sound off in the comments.
