We take a look at two of todays top mobile phones shooters, The Nokia Lumia 925 and the Samsung ATIV SE. Both are two of the hottest Windows powered mobiles, but which is the better of the two?

Design
The Nokia Lumia 925 is designed with rounded metal edges and black seams. The front of this smartphone is covered in glass that curves over the edge and a white polycarbonate plate in the back. Long story short, this is an absolutely beautiful phone; perhaps the most gorgeous Windows phone to date.
In contrast, the design of the Samsung ATIV SE looks quite similar to that of the Galaxy S3; albeit with a few design tweaks like the navigation key controls which consist of a physical Windows key and capacitive search and back keys. It is also important to note that this phone has no dedicated camera button and is made out of plastic. In addition, the ATIV SE is also the lightest and thinnest Windows Phones available on the Verizon network and the only option that comes a removable battery and a micro SD card slot.
Camera
The Lumia 925 has a particularly nice 8.7 megapixel Pureview camera which, quite frankly, puts many other cameras to shame, especially when it comes to low-light performance. With a 1.3 megapixel wide angle front camera, it is perfect for video chats and taking selfies.
The Samsung ATIV SE, on the other hand, does not have a dedicated camera button; you will have to tap on the screen to take pictures. Although, this isn’t particularly hard, it is a little inconvenient compared to other smartphones on the market. It comes with a 13 megapixel rear facing and a 2 megapixel front facing cameras.
Battery Life
The Lumia comes with a 2000mAh battery that is big enough to allow you to make it through the day without being recharged. Unfortunately, the battery is not removable, so you will have to charge the battery when it run puts of juice.
Alternatively, the ATIV SE comes with a 2600mAh battery which, although not the best on the market, it can be used for at least nine hours without having to be charged.
Both of these phones use the Windows 8 OS, but that is where the similarities end. If you would like a Windows phone and you are looking outside of the Nokia lineup, then the ATIV SE is probably your best choice; it is a great phone. However, if you are looking for a phone with great features, pizzazz and style, the Nokia Lumia 925 would be perfect for you.
