These smart phones each have their unique specialties. Even thought they are similar on many aspects, some of their features bear the signature of their brand names. They are ideal for casual users provided the features, and they range in the same prices as well.
Samsung Galaxy Core Lite LTE
The phone has been released in June 2014. It comes up with Android JellyBean OS, even though most expected it to sport the latest KitKat version of it. Another big disadvantage is the lack of secondary camera in this phone.
Design & Display
The phone looks smart and casual. It has a wide 4.7 inches screen with minimal 199 pixels per inch density. 5.24 x 2.76 x 0.39 inches is the dimensions it shows off. Not much has been thought of regarding the protection of its touch screen. Even multi touch feature has been neglected.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
A 1GB RAM with a Quad core processor is the only relief with this phone. Even though you 2G, 3G and 4G connections this phone seems to lack certain essential features that should complement it. We get a 5MP primary camera which allows auto focus and LED flash features. We can record video at 720p with 30 fps but it lacks a secondary camera. Lastly, the battery too is a 2000 mAh only.
HTC Desire 610
Initially on its announcement in February 2014, it created a lot of buzz. What we get on its release in May 2014 is not disappointing. HTC has managed to put in some smart features in the most effective way to match the requirements of the masses.
Design & Display
This phone portrays a stylish design which comes in black, white, red, gray and green colors. An ample 4.7 inches screen with high resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. We can say that this phone has got quite an appeal. Multi touch enabled with a HTC Sense UI v5.5.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
This phone matches with Core Lite in providing 8GB internal slot and a 1GB RAM. It even has a Quad core processor just like Core Lite. The main difference is this phone works on Android KitKat OS version and yes, you do get a 1.3 MP secondary camera with it that captures at 720p. Apart from that, both the phones have 4G connectivity. It has a 2040 mAh battery.
Overall
Just because it is still fresh in the market, this phone is a little higher in price than Core Lite. But among the two phones we can clearly state that Desire 610 is the winner. It has almost got all the features of Core Lite and scores more on the secondary camera and battery feature.
