Note Pro 12.2 was released in the second month of 2014 while the 2014 edition of Galaxy Note 10.1 was released in October 2013. Both these tabs give a close competition to one another when it comes to features. So can we place Note Pro 12.2 above Note 10.1?

This is a heavy (750g) weighted tab which lacks SIM slot. This is undoubtedly one of the most talked about tabs of this year. The features this tab allows are great for complex professional tasks.
Design & Display
The tab is wider than Note 10.1 in terms of dimensions, also heavier, as already mentioned. The 12.2 inch screen has extremely low resolution of 247 pixels per inch. But it has a super clear LCD capacitive touch screen and 16 M colors to make its screen bright and seamless in appearance.
Specifications, Camera & battery
This tab allows you a 32 or 64 GB memory with 64 GB microSD expansion. It has a fully equipped 8 mega pixels rear camera and a 2 mega pixels front camera. Therefore the camera feature is one to watch out for. The functioning chipset is of Exynos 5 Octa 5420 capacity while the processor is 1.9 GHz Quad core. This is why Samsung has allowed a 3 GB RAM on this tab. It works on Android OS, v4.4.2.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)
This tab belongs to a lower price group. It has a stylish display and some useful features. Let us check it.

The 10.1 inch screen features a much higher 29 pixels per inch on its screen than Note Pro 12.2 does. It is more compact and lighter in weight than its predecessor. Both the tabs feature S Pen Stylus though.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
It is based on Android JellyBean OS and even lacks an upgradability option. It is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and has 2.3 GHz Quad core processor. The performance can be more reliable than Note Pro 12.2. The RAM and expandable memory slot are of the same capacity as that of Note Pro 12.2 but unlike the same, it can also be availed in a 16 GB memory. The 8220 mAh battery is non removable. This tab has an exact similar camera feature as that of Note Pro 12.2.
Overall
Buy Note 10.1 not only because it is lesser in price but also since it has a better sound system, processor capacity and display feature than Note Pro 12.2. All the other features of these two tabs are quite similar.
