Who said gold was out of fashion? If you’re into bling-bling, and you really want to make a statement, you’ll be pleased to learn that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with a Gold version, right from the start. The previous model, the Samsung Galaxy S4, has also received a gold version, but that version came quite some time after the release of the phone. This time around, Samsung seems to acknowledge that there’s a market beyond white, silver and black, and will adjust accordingly, as a new leak proves.
The leak in question is a screenshot of Vodafone’s upcoming stock, which will feature a Gold version of the Samsung Galaxy S5, along with gold versions of the HTC One 4G and the Iphone 5S. Whether or not you’ll have to spend extra on the Gold edition or not is unclear. In fact, we’re not even sure what the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be priced at, but it’s likely to reach the $1000 mark. More information will probably be revealed on the subject in the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, on the 24th of February, Monday. Does the idea of owning a golden Samsung Galaxy S5 sound appealing? After all, why not show that you mean business if you’re going to shed out serious money on Samsung’s latest offering?
