American model and actor Kate Upton has starred in a new live-action commercial for Game of War: Fire Age, a free-to-play mobile title released earlier this year on iOS and Android.
“Reputation,” the name of the trailer, features Upton delivering a fiery speech to her fellow soldiers, before she leads them into a battle against a mythical creature from the title’s universe.
“Listen! That’s destiny calling. It’s daring you to seize it. Stand with your alliance, and there’s nothing to fear other than what’s about to come out of those trees,” says Upton.

This isn’t the first commercial that the 22-year-old model has appeared in for Game of War, as she made her initial appearance last month in a similar live-action advert for the title.
Free-to-play mobile apps such as Game of War: Fire Age have been at the forefront of controversy for their ability to allow people to make in-app purchases — South Park parodied this concept in one of their episodes from season 18 — with a recent case this year involving a 15-year-old Belgian boy who spent €37,000 ($46,000/£29,006) on virtual gold in the game.
