Shadow Warrior has received a new trailer for its upcoming PS4 and Xbox One release this September. The trailer features some absolutely brutal swordplay and some singing in a classic car to a catchy tune. The trailer was shown on the PlayStation Blog and you can check out the trailer below.
Shadow Warrior is an FPS/Slasher game that is a remake of the 1997 classic. You play as Lo Wang, a self-proclaimed Katana enthusiast. The game features a bunch of different weapons such as a Katana, Rocket Launchers, Shotguns and Sub Machine Guns, you can also dual wield guns for double the carnage. The game is designed like classic FPS’s such as Doom and Duke Nukem 3D, but with a modern twist. The levels in Shadow Warrior are large, and like classic FPS games feature a bunch of hidden secrets for you to find. Enemies can vary with different sizes, strengths and weaknesses. You can also upgrade Lo with different skills and abilities. The PlayStation 4 version will also feature touchpad support with the Katana, so now you can slice up demons without even pressing a button.
Shadow Warrior has already had a successful PC release and the game will be launching on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on the 23rd September in the US and 26th of September in Europe. The game will run at 1080p and 60 FPS.
