The game features a gameplay and a story focused on air battles from World War II. The player gets to choose to embark on adventures as American or Japanese airplane pilots, with different missions available for each faction. Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies will bring us no less than 180 different missions, all of them being selected from the most important aerial battles of the Second World War. We’ll have the chance to relive some of the most important events that shaped the World as we know it in the present days.

If we want to rule the skies of the Pacific, we’ll have to battle our enemies over the treacherous waters of the ocean, redefining the historic World War II battles. We will have at our disposal the most iconic and technologically advanced American and Japanese fighters that flew over the Pacific in the past. The planes can and should be improved and leading pilots may be trained so they can master all the skills needed to ambush the enemies, rescue the prisoners of war or bomb the enemy targets. In order to win the war we have only one option: Be skilled and courageous! Otherwise, we risk going down in flames.

Apart from the single player mode, Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies has a multiplayer mode as well that allows us to challenge various pilots in aerial combats. The overall scores can be shared through GameCenter.
