While Goblins vs Gnomes isn’t coming till December, lets take a sneak peek at the Mech themed cards coming with it
Goblins and Gnomes are famous for creating mechanized constructions and monsters and in the upcoming Goblins vs Gnomes Hearthstone expansion, players will be able to experiment with these creations with the new Mech themed cards. Today we’re going to take a sneak peek at some Mech characters to give you a taste of what to expect.
Out of the 130 new cards coming in Goblins vs Gnomes, around a third of these new cards will be Mech minions and on top of that some older generic minon cards like the Harvest Golem will changed into Mech cards. As you might expect both the Goblins and the Gnomes have designed their creations to worked well together with creations like the Mechwarper which costs 2 mana to summon and lowers to mana cost of every other Mech card by one, and the warrior exclusive Screwjank Clunker which gives all friendly Mechs a +2/+2 boost.
On top of this some Mech cards deathrattles summon random minions such Sneed’s Old Shredder, a 8 mana card whose deathrattle summons a random Legendary minion. These deathrattle summoned minions are going to be useful to for summoning on the Goblins and Gnomes best creations, the V-07-TR-ON. This card can only be summoned by having Mimiron’s Head and three Mechs on your side of the field at your side of the field. By using its effect to destroying all cards on your side of the field you’ll summon the V-07-TRON,a 4 attack and 8 health machine that can attack four times and can attack the turn its summoned. Along with that the Mechs also have the Clockwork Giant, a 8 attack/8 heath card that while it costs 12 mana, costs one less mana for each card in your opponents hand.
Finally the Mechs come with their own equip cards called Spare Parts. There are 8 of these Spare Parts which come with a variety of abilities such as freezing a minion, giving a minion taunt and swapping a minions Attack and Health.
The Goblins vs Gnomes expansion is scheduled for release on December 2014 and will come with roughly 130 cards including the Mech themed cards and the long-awaited spectator mode.
