Sony wants to announce a release date in the coming weeks for the PS4 exclusive Driveclub. “The progress being made on the game is spectacular, so we’re looking forward to sharing an update on development, release date and videos of the game in action in the weeks to come. We thank you for your patience and assure you, it will be worth the wait.” was a statement issued by Sony to VideoGamer.com. The game was originally going to launch with the PS4 in North America and Europe due to complication with the game’s social features.
IGN asked Sony about why the console missed the Japan PS4 launch date in Febuary 2014. This is Sony’s response: “The team at Evolution Studios are working hard to bring Driveclub, a truly next gen driving experience to PS4 and we will announce the release date shortly. We’re really excited about how Driveclub is progressing and thank you for your patience.”
Driveclub is a PS4 exclusive racing game developed by Evolution Studios which was founded in 1999 and have a reputation for great racing games. Such as the “WRC” series and the “MotorStorm” series so the game has a lot of potential. The game allows you to step into the seat of a sports car. On Sony’s website it is described as:

It’s about teamwork; it’s about everyone fighting for one another and earning rewards together – and most importantly it’s about sharing in the sheer thrill of every race. It permanently connects you and your friends, always allowing you to share your experiences, send and receive challenges, and keep up to speed with your team’s performance.”
It has been a long wait for fans of Sony and Evolution Games but Sony has insisted that it will be worth the wait when the game is released.
