While Sony Xperia Z has been featured as one of the best Sony devices, Huawei Ascend P7 has been deemed high end due to its superlative features. When compared side by side, will Huawei Ascend P7 beat one of Sony’s best?
Sony Xperia Z
As already mentioned, this is as best as it can get in terms of overall look and features. This is a water resistant phone with a high resolution display. This phone seems to have got everything right.
Design & Display
This phone is made with a unique glass body – this gives the phone a glossy look at the same time making it a better graspable body. We can say that this phone is very thin. It has a large 5 inch display which is sharp at its edges. We get a 443 pixel per inch display. A scratch resistant glass with IP 57 certified water and dust resistance are its other features.
Specifications, Camera & Display
There is 13 mega pixels rear camera along with auto focus, geo tagging and HDR mode. Plus we also get high definition video recording. The front facing camera is 2.2 mega pixels. 2330 mAh battery gives us a good to go work capacity. With 1.5 GHz Quad core processor and 2 GB RAM, this phone should work nicely. Even thought he built in storage is 16 GB the user storage is only 11 GB but we can expand the storage limit up to 32 GB.
Huawei Ascend P7
We know that this is comparatively newer phone released in January 2014. Therefore it definitely has some renewed features which may be similar to Xperia Z or may surpass the latter too!
Design & Display
It has a metal rim surrounding its front and back – much like Xperia Z which has a metal black. However the metal rim in this phone is essentially made of Gorilla Glass. We get a big 5 inch display with scratch resistant glass. The 445 pixels per inch give it an edge above Xperia Z.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
This phone has a 2 GB RAM along with a 1.8 GHz Quad core processor. Even this phone has a 16 GB memory storage capacity but users get only 12 GB storage. The only feature that clearly distinguishes this phone with Xperia Z is that this phone has an 8 mega pixels front camera along with a 13 mega pixels rear camera. The battery capacity with 2500 mAh is also much higher.
Overall
Clearly Huawei Ascend P7 is a better phone among the two. In this phone all the features are a little bit higher compared to Xperia Z.
