The Sony Xperia Z1 compact is one of its kinds, but if you ask us, Huawei Ascend G6 is a great phone as well. It is difficult to pick a better phone amongst the two; we must take a closer look at both to reach a conclusion.

This is a phone which is very up to date with the market. Sony has released its Android Kit Kat OS phone which has even been well received. This is why this phone has been featured as the best from Sony.
Design & Display
Sony has stroked the right OmniBalance design with this phone. It has a glass and metal design which gives it the much required sturdiness. But this makes the phone a little bit more slippery. With a 342 pixels per inch on its IPS LCD screen, Sony has returned back to what it is best at. We can still see that there is a little bit of brightness misbalance, but for the most part this phone does its best to give us a nice screen.

The highlight of this phone is its 20.7 mega pixels camera fully equipped with essential features. Apart front that we get a 2 mega pixels camera in the front as well. Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and 2.2 GHz Quad core processors make the phone super fast. We also get a 2048 MB RAM to back it. The expandable memory slot is only up to 64 GB while we get a 16 GB internal memory. The 2300 mAh battery is enough for this phone.
Huawei Ascend G6
This is another affordable Android device from Huawei. It resembles Ascend P6 in more ways than one. We can actually call it a smarter and cheaper renovation of the same phone. With some smart compromises, the specs are just rightly picked.
Design & Display
It looks as if it has been made with metal at first, but if you take a closer look you will know that it is made up of plastic. This phone is very light in weight which is very sharp in its looks. Overall, a 4.5 inch screen with 245 pixels per inch is quite a good value for money.

It has an 8 mega pixels camera with only LED flash, auto focus and back illumined sensor. We get a front facing 5 mega pixels camera too. The processor with its Quad core 1.2 GHz capacity on Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset is lagging behind Xperia Z1 compact. However the 2000 mAh battery is quite good for this capacity phone.
Overall
Huawei Ascend G6 is a pretty good phone within the budget. If you are flexible with money, go for Xperia Z1 compact, since it has more features.
