South Korea gets a new Mega Man game called Rockman GoGo! and its a runner game which includes boss fights
Due to the lack of Mega Man titles over the past few years it would be understandable to think that Capcom have forgotten about the little Blue Bomber. However South Korean gamers can now download a new Mega Man game titled Rockman GoGo!, and it’s actually a runner game with boss battles against the Mega Man Powered Up Robot Masters.
In the game players run forward through various stages based on the Robot Master stages from the PSP game Mega Man Powered Up as either Mega Man or the games various Robot Masters. Speaking of the Robot Masters the game also features boss battles against them too. Each character has their own way of attacking so for example Mega Man has his buster which he can at times rapid fire and Cut Man has his Rolling Cutters which act like a boomerang so you can’t mash the fire button.
Rockman GoGo! was developed by a studio in South Korea called Jenoi and in an article by Sports Chosun (which was translated by Kotaku), it was revealed that Capcom chose them to make the game because Jenoi have worked with them in the past to port Capcom titles to the iOS. The article by Kotaku also stated that “Capcom asked Jenoi to develop an Android-based Mega Man game for Korean players“.
South Korean gamers can now download a new Mega Man game called Rockman GoGo! for the Android. The game is a runner game designed to look like Mega Man Powered Up and Capcom haven’t revealed when/if the game will be released outside South Korea.
