Skipping the formalities and heading straight into the details. Currently, BioWare has listed eight playable characters and their biographies for Dragon Age: Inquisition, known to be released soon on multiple platforms.  Despite having this large crowd, the cast lacks a balance chemistry.

A majority of these known individuals have good hearts and wants to restore peace. Additionally, we’re missing some profiles on others gathered around the war table. With these presumptions, we should be expecting more characters with darker stories to be announced before the big launch. As we anticipate the coming news, here’s the biographies and names going on the big screen.

Cassandra Pentaghast

This noble and pious swords-woman relinquishes her wealthy lifestyle to join the Seekers of Truth, a group that basically investigates any corruptions or magical threats. With her devoted heart toward justice, she loyally stays with Divine Justinia and her efforts to restore order in the midst of chaos, when a mage rebellion pulls her brothers away.

Vivienne

Madame de Fer, translated as “the Lady of Iron”, is the Imperial court’s official enchanter, though suspicions surround her appointment that she used political maneuvering. Despite those who detest, fear, and admire her power, this magical leader despises war and only desires to restore boundaries, even to the point where she is among those left standing.

Blackwall

This Warden, among the rare few who to choose to fight, believes so wholeheartedly in the noble ideal of the Grey Wardens. As such, he doesn’t mind the hardship and sacrifice to protect the land from an evil that can never truly be conquered. His conquest will determine who he was made to be rather than who he was.

Cole

This unnoticeable ghost may walk through crowds and assassinate someone before anyone notices. Between human or a demonic pretender, this spirit is impossibly caught between the immaterial realm of the Fade and the confusing realities of our physical world.  Though the world is in peril, this indecisive being searches for his place within it. He connects awkwardly with others who wish to provide peace and security across regions and aid the helpless, but he doesn’t associate or interact with selfish people who do not notice him..

Morrigan

This dark-haired sorceress either seeks to influence the Imperial throne or harbors more sinister motives. Three years ago, This Witch of the Wilds arrived in Orlais as the newly-appointed “arcane advisor” to Empress Celene. By explaining a source of information unfiltered by religious dogma about magic to Celene, she builds a close relationship with the royal highness. Yet, rumor has it that she is teaching the Empress forbidden, dark arts in secret.

Sera

Impulsive, she likes living in the moment.  Instead of reflecting upon past decisions or justifying previous choices, she moves on ahead. In the Friends of Red Jenny, she humbled authority and had fun doing it, but the current nobility is being not just selfish but blind. This bows-woman and her “friends”  fight for troubled folks and restoration.

Varric Tethras

This adventurous rouge tells stories, but also becomes a trouble maker. He hates schemes and underground folks, such as dwarves, except from the Merchants Guild. Still, he is well liked and received in wealthy or scoundrel circles. He informs others that he likes being sociable and the circle’s interest, but close comrades claims differently. They say that he meddles so much into the world’s numerous conflicts that some events won’t allow him to escape with a quick tale.

The Iron Bull

His blood lineage comes from the Qunari, descendants of brutal horned giants from the north. These characters manage their strict disciplines by spying and turning in Ben-Hassrath reports on any rebels. He, a respected leader to his warriors, questions these Qunari Laws.
