ToraxXx, a user of the entertainment, social networking service and news website, Reddit, has allegedly disclosed information regarding Steam’s, a software company, upcoming Halloween sale. He, ToraxXx, apparently gave away details about the sale that until that time had only been revealed to game developers.
The publicly published statement which contained the info revealed claims that the sale is scheduled to begin on the 30th of October and last for the entire Halloween weekend, which would end on the 3rd of November. The post also reveals the types of games that will be discounted on the said sale.
Steam, according to the written report, is in reality considering giving discounts to games that fit the general Halloween theme. This only means that a lot of horror games are to be expected to be given a discount. On the whole, any game that may include zombies, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, evil witches, cults or other spooky creatures and/or content will be taken into consideration. Steam has given an opinion to its developers to look at the tags of their game to decide whether it will be right and proper for the upcoming sale. Unless users have tagged it with any Halloween related tags, it may be suitable for a markdown for the duration of the Halloween sale.
