Hugh Laurie will voice the mischievous Newton in the upcoming Little Big Planet 3
Today on the PlayStation Blog came the announcement that the games mischievous new villain Newton will be voiced by none other then Hugh Laurie. Stephan Fry (whose returning as the series narrator) and Hugh Laurie are long time comedy partners so when it came to finding a voice actor for the narrators counterpart, Lugh Laurie was the obvious choice for the developers.
Nice to see that Newton has gone through a wardrobe change.
In Little Big Planet 3 Sackboy has come to the world of Bunkum, a paradise world we’re people can create whatever they want and ideas just float in the sky. The world is a creative paradise for everyone but Newton whose the worlds worst creator. Unfortunately for Bunkum Sackboy accidentally releases the three Titans, evil beings set on destroying Bunkum and they corrupt Newton to do so.
Little Big Planet 3 will be the first game Hugh Laurie will lend his voice too, yet despite this his doing a great job judging from the trailer that was released along with the announcement.
Besides High Laurie, Little Big Planet 3 will also include new voice actors including Tara Strong, Simon Greennall, Peter Serafinowicz and one of video games most used voice actors Nolan North.
