Strike Vector goes into its Early Beta Stage

by GH Staff

The innovative hybrid between first and third person shooter, Strike Vector has entered its early beta stage. A few days ago, the first batch of keys was sent out to a number lucky aerial shooter enthusiasts.

Developed by Rage Quit Corporation, an 9 person indie team, the game was built on the Unreal Engine in about 15 months. Even though the numbers may not seem that interesting once you enter the game, they become quite shocking. For such a short period of time and little-to-no manpower, the developers were able to make a game that truly feels like a multi million dollar production.

Before you take the pilot’s seat you are able to customize your ship in various ways. Choosing weapons for your left and right mouse button attacks is just part of the process. Needless to say the true action of Strike Vector begins once you enter an actual game.

Once you find a server and enter the combat only one word can define the gameplay experience – CRAZY (in the good way of course). The integration of a third-person shooter elements when you have to maneuver through tight spaces when needed is quite innovative. However, the fast paced first person action is what could make your head spin.

Recommended for every FPS player, Strike Vector definitely brings something new to the shooter table that we haven’t seen before. The official beta stage of the game is set to release in a few weeks on January 30, so if you haven’t you can sign up at the official Strike Vector website.
