Earlier this week, Japan was the first to have access to the Super Smash Bros. 3DS demo and North American fans of the hit franchise were beginning to feel a little left out. But no more! Because the Super Smash Bros. 3DS demo will be available for download off the Nintendo eShop come September 19.
Nintendo representatives kicked off eight hour Nintendo Treehouse live stream with the announcement that the Super Smash demo will be available in North America on September 19. This news comes as great relief as the anticipation for the newest addition to the Smash Bros. franchise grows to a paramount level.
Being a Club Nintendo Platinum member will finally pay off. Nintendo has announced that codes for the demo will be sent out to select members later today via email. Now, I’m not a Club Nintendo Platinum member but I imagine at this point the feeling must be similar to having access to Club 33 in Disneyland. Nintendo clearly understands that idea of friendship, because selected members will not only be receiving a code for themselves, but as well as four additional codes to share with friends. I think now may be the perfect time to start assigning your homework to other people.
If your a Club Nintendo Platinum member, be sure to check your email constantly today like your awaiting an acceptance letter to University.
Everyone else, like me, well, just keep on holding out, September 19 isn’t too far away now.
