Swing Swing Submarine’s Freebies in Advent of Indies 2014

by GH Staff

Since December 1, Advent of Indies 2014 has been brings new surprises and gifts, such as Greek and Wicked as well as Tetrobot and Co. These freebies are from an indie game developer known as Swing Swing Submarines; this small company has been around since 2009 and released Blocks That Matter in 2011. Currently, the team is working on Seasons After Fall, an exploration and adventure game that allows the player to control a wild fox with the ability to alter the seasons on Windows, Mac, and Linux in 2015.

Although folks can’t checkout Seasons After Fall yet, computer users can play a retro casual game like Greek and Wicked for free. Going old school, Swing Swing Submarines created a simple game with a weapon specialist facing off a regenerating Hydra. While dodging the attacks, the player must wait to hit “X” when the heads are next to the character while they’re trying to bite. Afterwards, that player must either climb up the separate platforms to shoot the weights or use a combination of attacks to kill the bigger head for points. Because it’s a casual game, the player will repeat this scenario over and over again.

On the other hand, folks might be lucky enough to receive a free copy of robot repairing game when they click on the tag “Win this Game” and fill out the form. Tetrobot and Co. deals with a microscopic robot that goes inside robots to solve puzzles, fix mechanical components (circuits, pipes, etc) and more in order to revive the broken machines since 2013. Right now, it’s only available for the PC, Mac, and Windows.
