Star Wars: The Old Republic will take its servers offline on September 22 at 7:00am CT, which is 12:00pm UTC, to deploy Game Update 7.9.1c. The free-to-play Star Wars MMORPG estimates three hours of downtime for the deployment, and it lists the window as an estimate. Every player is affected while the servers are down. The developers announced the schedule in one Steam Community post on September 18, and a second post on the same page carries the full patch notes, which are organized into Highlights, Galactic Seasons, and Items sections.
Hidden Chain Invasions Return
Hidden Chain Invasions will become active once more with Game Update 7.9.1c. The patch notes list this change first in the Highlights section. The notes also state that because of the events that occur in Game Update 7.9 "Legacy Reborn", Hidden Chain Invasions will become inactive at the 8.0 launch. The note ties the invasions to the Legacy Reborn events in Game Update 7.9, and the patch switches the invasions back on after they were inactive.
Galactic Seasons Galaxy Map Fix
Galactic Seasons 11, titled "Light and Shadow", started with the launch of Game Update 7.9.1. The season’s objective list runs from September 15 to October 12. In the 7.9.1c build, clicking the Galaxy Map for the objective "Sweeping Ruhnuk and Kessan’s Landing" now opens the Galaxy Map as intended. The fix sits in the patch notes under the Galactic Seasons section.
New Seasons Vendor Items
The update adds two items to the seasons vendor. Amity’s Weapon "Pummeled Peace" is now available, and Fen Zeil’s Cybernetic Customization in Blue joins it on the vendor. Both items are listed in the patch notes under the Items section, and players can purchase them through the seasons vendor.
Character Appearance Fix
Game Update 7.9.1c also fixes an issue that caused some cybernetics and facial hair to display an unnatural metallic or reflective color. The fix is listed in the Items section of the patch notes. Players will see the corrected appearance on affected characters once the servers return after the estimated three hour maintenance window on September 22.
