Today, Popcap games announced a new free DLC pack for it’s inventive shooter, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. The third free DLC pack will be named the Tactical Taco Party pack. And, like the Zomboss Down pack and Garden Variety packs before it, this free DLC will add customization options, a new map, and a new gamemode. A preview video for the Plants vs Zombies DLC pack can be seen below.
The new map will be a western themed map, called Jewel Junction. It features a Steam Train going through the middle at set intervals and easter eggs, including a Mass Effect Easter egg, as teased in the preview video.
The new gamemode, Vanquish Confirmed, based off of Call of Duty’s Kill Confirmed, follows the same set of rules. To get credit for a “vanquish,” you need to collect their “orb.”
The pack will also add new characters, the Orange Cactus and Berry Shooter, as well as character customization items.
The Tactical Taco Party Pack releases July 1st on Xbox One and Xbox 360. No word on the PC version of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare yet.
