Odyssey Interactive has released Blood and Brine, the free expansion for Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter, on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The expansion, announced via PlayStation.Blog, is available today and takes protagonist Arlo from the frozen North to the coastal region of Hardshell Brook.
This post-game adventure adds a substantial amount of content, including 11 quests, 10 new bosses, nine armour sets, new music, and a fishing system with 32 aquatic creatures to discover. Players must complete the main campaign before they can set sail, ensuring the expansion serves as a true endgame experience.
The expansion also introduces ship arena battles, bringing combat onto the water, and includes crossover armour inspired by several indie hits: Blasphemous, Cult of the Lamb, Dave the Diver, Death’s Door, Moonlighter, and Beyond Galaxyland.
