Free to play shooter Team Fortress 2 has received a new festive themed update entitled ‘Smissmas’. Included in the update is a brand new beta game mode with grappling hooks called ‘Mannpower Mode’.
‘Smissmas is almost upon us, and everybody here on the TF2 team’s been busy getting gifts ready and standing as a group under the Valve mistletoe. The smooch count’s currently at zero, but we’re in this for the long haul.’
A feast of new weapons are also included in the update. Weapons like the ‘Panic attack’ shotgun, and the ‘Iron Bomber’ are available right now. The Smissmas update also includes some balancing and bug fixes. For a full list of the content and changes, you can check out the source link towards the bottom of the page.
If you want to play the new game mode, make sure you enable the ‘Play Beta Maps’ checkbox inside the game.
