Bandai Namco today shared the gist of the changelog attached to the Tekken 7 Season Pass 4. Yes, we’re on the fourth iteration of the popular fighting game, and its competitive scene is looking livelier than ever, even amid all of the unfortunate roadblocks this year threw the way of every Esports franchise on the planet.
As for the update that is now in front of us, the developers just confirmed a new character called Kunimitsu will be arriving with Season 4. Inspired by the female ninja from the OG Tekken released way back in 1994, this new character is said to be the daughter of that mysterious 20th-century assassin.
What happened to the first one is unclear, but maybe Tekken 7 Season 4 answers that, as well, once we manage to unlock Kunimitsu. In the first seasonal update scheduled for this fall, Tekken 7 will be updated with Kunimitsu and the Vermilion Gates arena. Season 4 will include another addition to the character roster as well, but Bandai Namco details about that part of the update close at hand for the time being.
However, the second part of Season 4 content won’t arrive until spring, so there’s plenty of time for the company to spill the beans.
