A few hours later, a post on the Telltale Games blog confirmed that the surprise announcement was Minecraft: Story Mode. The game is a narrative driven game series that is being collaborated on with developers Mojang, and will feature “new characters with familiar themes.”
This announcement adds Minecraft: Story Mode to the other series Telltale Games is developing at this time, which includes Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones.
While no specific release date or information on what platforms the title will appear on was announced, Telltale promises that the title will see a release in 2015.
