After recognizing ten indie game developers,Gamer Headlines is adding Alpha Six Productions to our growing list, along with Joylancer: Legendary Motor Knight; inspired by the Game Boy visuals, this retro action platformer was started in December 2013 and was first released on February 25, 2014 for the PC. The adventurous story follows a young hyper-energetic recruit called Joy Lantz who challenges King Lancelot Bartholomew Rosell of the Roselian Empire and his beasts through the lands after 256 years of peace in Antoria.
While engaging these foes, players might notice that “Joylancer is a game that focuses on speed and movement”. Depending on how much energy is inserted into meters for the attacks, the assault techniques and devastating blows can change. While each level will challenge players to master these skills, they need replenish their energy meters and health. However, these things can possibly change as the developer plans for a final release in Q1 of spring 2015.

Because of the excellent execution for the retro atmosphere and adrenaline gameplay, this drilling-masterpiece has my high hopes for this game to be labeled as Best Indie Game of 2015.”
